Pros
* It is a very independent job but you never feel like you can't ask for help. *Pay is decent but not amazing *Not hard to get promoted in less than a year
Cons
*Lots of heavy lifting (even if you have weight restrictions and tell a manager they will not bat an eye if you're trying to lift something 100lb+) *Constantly short staffed(People are always quitting with and less package handers means more work for this position)

Pros
It’s a Simple instruction Job to do
Cons
They like to really work their employees till 1 passes out and still work other employees the same way The harder you work they will take advantage and keep working you Most managers(Vast majority) DO NOT know how to talk to people They love to yell and be in faces ( I’m going to yell at you till you bow down to me so you do as I say mentality) They will put you in areas you have no clue how to work in. Example if I’m a unloaded why would they temporarily put me in a loading dock and then yell and fuse because I’m not up to their par stranded (HELLO wasn’t trained in this area) If they left the employees alone and let them work things would be so much easier but no 100% would not recommend

Pros
As a part-time associate, your hours are flexible. You can ask to be booked at certain times and management is likely to accept your request. Hours are relatively consistent. Some managers are affable. Regular coworkers provide a great atmosphere. Pay rate is decent.
Cons
Management now requires us to work Sunday shifts. The goal every Sunday is to work from 3:00 pm to 8:30 pm, however, we often finish at 11:30 pm. While this could be a pro, this is also a big con because, even though there are more hours, no one is allowed on break. This is illegal and associates are quitting because we are forced to work seven to eight hours straight. While some managers are nice, others may micromanage their staff. They will also threaten to write-up or fire associates for making a small mistake. It is difficult to sign up for direct deposit. When signing up, there is a run-around and it could take weeks to complete set-up. It's better to opt-in to checks. FedEx doesn't see their associates as their most valuable asset.
