I have been working at Fircroft full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Onsite gym. some good people until they all leave

    Cons

Management have no idea how to run things, They just turn up in their Ferrari’s and Porsche’s and sit above everyone else ignoring all the problems in the company. There’s no benefits and hr are a joke. They never actually help anyone they just tell you to talk to your manager even when your manager is the problem. They don’t even engage with the rest of the people. No one even knows how to find them when their hidden away from the rest of the workers. Pay is way below other companies and bonus’s are only for recruiters not the rest of us who work just as hard if not harder.

I worked at Fircroft full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

International company with many opportunities overseas. Company has recently gone through service centre transition so has efficient systems and profiles.

    Cons

Is an oil and gas recruitment company so teams are now lean, with many companies / clients not hiring.

I worked at Fircroft full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Working at Fircroft has been fantastic for the two years i have been there. The staff are lovely and they are the people that make this company. Plenty of opportunity to move up within the company.

    Cons

Sadly Fircroft is going through a lot change at the moment, which is not being communicated with the staff. When you are in a culture that doesnt see it necessary to communicate to its staff, people begin to feel unsettled and insecure. Senior management seem to become lazier as they progress further forward, which is sadly creating a culture of "i dont care". The company has fantastic potential, but is being brought down by those doing the day to day running in regions. Regional directors are not being held accountable, and this has to change before this company can move forward. The CEO of the company is lovely, and will give you opportunities to progress within Fircroft. Having said that, there doesnt seem to be much leadership currently and what leadership does exist, is sadly focused on all the wrong things. Fircroft is a company with a huge portfolio of clients, some of the biggest names in the world, yet they still believe the answer for progress is to bring in new business instead of focusing on filling their requirements to the current clients, which given their size, could bring in much more work than any new business target could account for.

I worked at Fircroft full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

The people are such an amazing team to work with and certainly some of the best recruiters (past and present) that I have been fortunate to work with. A high performing team and access to vacancies to work on from day one. A culture that does enable a better work life balance than any other major recruitment company I have worked for. Great client base across all the major operator and EPCM’s and a strong reputation in the market. A non KPI focused environment - a high level of trust is given to the recruiters to focus on results rather than activity.

    Cons

Internal communication could be better Over reporting on the same stats Lacking female role models in senior management/country management level mainly sit in operational roles where they do exist Lack of training to support better upskilling - need to do better at growing talent within More investment needed in bringing the recruitment system up to date in line with external competitor systems
