I have been working at Freelancer

    Pros

The pros should be that there are lots of jobs but more of a con (yes, pun intended)

    Cons

You will compete with 3rd world countries on jobs (constantly outbid) High cost of membership (jobs awarded does not cover the cost of fees) contests are a scam, close early, keep going to no end, winners not selected... Most jobs are really low ball offers I have been waiting a month for my pay Quality of clientele is terrible

I have been working at Freelancer for less than a year

    Pros

Nice to work on your own time in the comfort of your own living room.

    Cons

In the contest people can easily steal designs, The organization holding the contest exert the artist to constantly manipulate designs until someone comes along and steals your idea and promise better for cheaper. As a designer, your always on edge worrying whether or not you'll get a project worth your time.
