0 Job Security, Join At Your Own Risk
14 Mar 2023 - Manager, Digital MarketingRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The only pro is option to work remotely.
Cons
Where should I begin? 1. These companies have a history of recurrent layoffs year after year. These actions are usually conducted in a discreet manner, outside of public attention. 2. Do not be swayed by the attractive salary increase they may offer you upon joining. It is a tactic to entrap you into a position where you may be continuously seeking new employment opportunities due to poor organizational culture and lack of job security. 3. If you have marital obligations or other responsibilities, it is not advisable to pursue a career with this organization, regardless of the salary increase or job title offered. 4. This organization is better classified as a scheme and not a company, as they hire new employees, assign them to undesirable work, and then terminate their employment. 5. These layoffs typically occur in February, coincidentally at the same time as promotions and salary increases. This pattern may offer insight into their overall practices. 6. The sector in which this company operates is inherently unstable, with many businesses closing down in recent years. This instability is pervasive throughout the entire organization.
