      Highly toxic organisation

      Pros

Although few, there were a handful of pros at GPN: - Some really great people - Free food - Staff discount on GPN products - Good salary - Good benefits - Exposure to a global marketplace GPN has the ingredients to be a top company.

      Cons

The culture is toxic, led by narcissistic power-hungry fanatics who control everyone on their team. Employees are seen as disposable, consumables that leaders can abuse and discard at will. Staff retention is pitiful. One team lost 11 people in a year, one employee resigned after just 6 weeks on the job. Their values are meaningless. Few even know them, those who do either ignore or bend these so called values to suit a situation. As such values are worthless. Leadership is supported by HR, who standby lies despite an ounce of proof. Frontline staff are no more than a target, picked off by poisonous leaders, like snipers, should they step out of line. If you have an opinion don't join GPN. If you have any self respect don't join GPN. If you value your mental health don't join GPN. Don't be fooled by the HR team who's rhetoric spews a policy that's supposed to have your best interests at heart. They don't. They're no more than spineless puppets who orchestrate and deliver a cancerous ploy conjured up by those in power.

An OK place to gain experience.

      Feb 5, 2019 - Machine Operator

      Pros

      - Good benefits package. - Lots of overtime if you like that.

      Cons

      - 6 days a week basically mandatory for the entirety of the last 4 months of the year. - After the big year end push there's many days where there is nothing to do besides clean because there is no product. - Coworkers come and go, so if you end up being there for longer than everyone else you will have your responsibilities doubled without any extra recognition. Expect to train new people very often. - "Training" however, consists mostly of being told to do something by your bosses and having to ask your coworkers how everything works, often because the bosses themselves have no idea.

The company needs to find itself.

      Pros

Good benefits. 401k match is better than most. Generous paid time off. Many opportunities at the hourly, up to supervisor level.

      Cons

Limited opportunity beyond first level supervision. Communication within the organization is chaotic, at best. Each functional group trying to protect its own fiefdom as the company grows. Values of the organization are generally just looked at as words posted in the wall.
