I worked at Gordon & Rees full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The commuter benefits to offset transportation costs.

    Cons

Poor management. The senior managers don’t seem to care that people are miserable. Poor working environment with no camaraderie. Inconsistent work flow. Work can be overwhelming at times and there is no additional support to help out with projects. Other times it can be really slow.

I worked at Gordon & Rees full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Outstanding staff who are always willing to go the extra mile to help you.

    Cons

A lack of communication between management and staff. Incredible double standards between attorneys and staff which is par for the course considering its a law firm. Poor benefits and downright dismal work environment. Structure of the teams don't make sense and everyone is overworked since no one understands how to use technology to streamline anything. Makes simple tasks and projects take days. Felt like everyone... was just there to clock hours.

    Advice to Management

SF office is run like there is phantom management. The office administrator there is completely incompetent. Considering they pull in profits similar to firms with half as many attorneys you bet they don't give a hoot about actual work being done. Don't even know how this company makes money.
