I have been working at Gordon & Rees full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Awesome team of kind, friendly, brilliant people. Partner in charge carefully picked a great group. There isn’t any sense of superiority or huge egos you might find with other groups of lawyers. A pleasant environment.

    Cons

Lack of organization and communication leads to confusion and lack of efficiency. Not enough work for some while others are overwhelmed. Billing requirements are higher than other firms who pay the same and lead to having to work overtime often in order to meet requirements.

I have been working at Gordon & Rees full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Working from home during the pandemic was seamless thanks to a great remote server put in place pre-pandemic.

    Cons

Billable hour requirement slightly higher than some of its competitors. However, the firm is plenty busy, so meeting the minimum no too difficult.
