I worked at Grand View Research full-time for more than a year

    Pros

-No matter what you will always get your salary on time -Lots of leaves

    Cons

-Office politics prevail to a level which is almost impossible to stay away from -Was treated like a work horse and never compensated for it -Higher management only cares about their 'loyal pups' who have been in the company since inception rest of the employees don't mean anything no matter how hard working

I worked at Grand View Research full-time for more than a year

    Pros

1 star for the Peers (associates and Sr associates) who are very helpful probably because they go through the same. IT staff is really good and they do a commendable job. The housekeeping staff deserves appreciation.

    Cons

No work-life balance. Employees working for extended hours get special treatment and promotions. Of course friends of senior management are top of the order. No proper training module. No one-on-one feedback during appraisals. No criteria or declaration about the incentive. The employee is in the dark throughout the year. No freedom of expression. Junior employees work in fear that their incentives will be deducted if they even argue. Soft corner for south people in the CMFE domain. No talking ettiquettes. They think you are their servants. Canteen food is of degraded quality yet too expensive. Considering the salaries and appraisals offered, it should be regulated by the Admin. The street shop just outside the office sells cheap and tasty food. Dont even talk about the HRs. They pretend as if they are the owners and they give the salaries to everyone.

I worked at Grand View Research full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    1) Location 2) Parking Facility 3) Briyani/Puff Treats

    Cons

So, this is going to be a really long list so kindly hold patience. 1) No transparency in appraisal process: No one-on-one discussion for appraisals. You will be given a rating without any discussion. Percentage calculation is somewhat similar to the market sizing done here. No bases, no discussion, just personal intuition. Huh! Also, in case you have joined them recently, they will give you peanuts for appraisals. They give you a disgusting reply "You were already hired on a higher package that's why your percentage is less. People at your level here are at a low package so we need to standardize the band pay". Errr!!! What is my fault here, I mean you are making no less efforts. Why my financial growth curve has to decline because you were paying less to your employees. Everyone should be judged on their performance that why we fill the appraisal sheet. Oh! Sorry, I think they are not even viewed. Let me tell you a funny fact, I copy-pasted the justifications of all the "WHY" do you deserve this rating. Almost 60% was copied, NOBODY paid attention. It was approved and I got a 3% higher appraisal than the previous year. Wow! 2) Complete Favouritism: Anyone who was not a part of the company in their initial days could easily tell the differentiation. This behavior is exhibited by the management then the employees. 3) Senior's Behavior: There are a few senior research analyst, team leads who just impose their work on their subordinates. They are always away from their seats, not there to address sub-ordinates' queries. They ask them to work on client queries, draft response, perform preliminary research, while they are already caught with other projects. They create unnecessary pressure, ask them to stretch till late while they leave stating that we have a client call or other important work. They come at 12pm or late and ask you to be in office by 10am and check all the queries while its actually their job. This situation holds true across the organization irrespective of any domain. 5) Horrible Washrooms, Unhygienic Pantry: They stink! Soap is diluted with water, disposable cups/plates/soaps quality keeps degrading from time to time. 6) Human Resource: They will give you disgusting expressions, and ironically they are the rudest. It feels like they are themselves annoyed working here. Management should have a personal interaction with them as well.
