I worked at GreyOrange full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Opportunity to work with one of the most unique robotics company in India. Great networking opportunities.

    Cons

CEO tend to ignore the advice of subject matter experts and push them unreasonably (which percolates till the bottom). People either bend, or break; both of which are dangerous. In the absence of long term goals to strengthen its research and development ecosystem, the India hardware development centre has failed to provide output and is on the verge of closure. The software teams also tend to consistently complain about poor architecture, confusing TRDs, substandard SOP and long/irregular working hours. While the leadership has taken some hard decisions, which is appreciable; it fails to learn from its mistakes. Coming to the personal growth; most managers lack leadership qualities, they consistently fail to be a role model or provide an environment for professional growth of their subordinates. Opaque promotion process, subjective performance rating, work overload, credit stealing and blame shifting is common. A biased HR with shaky principles further worsens the situation. The company might seem to be a good place to work at start, but it’ll be tough place to stay. Owing to a bad overall experience, people rarely prefer to come back. The company might have a retention period of 1-2 years but that’s because most of the employees are extremely skilled and it takes time to find a new job. Exit process is also very unprofessional, the employer fail to keep up the good faith. Oh I forget to add, they don't add fake reviews, they just stand at your back and request you to write a "honest review".
