Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookI have been working at GulfManagers full-time for more than a year
Pros
- Autonomous environment; not much interaction or interference from the Senior management (which can sometimes be a con too) - Warm desk; Large client database in place - Associate Consultants have no revenue targets - Good friendly teammates - If you can work under pressure, this can be a good place to start off, get some experience and exposure to the Gulf markets. - Timings are standard; Noone works overtime or on holidays. - Teaches you to work in a fast paced environment
Cons
- Really bad idea if stability is your topmost priority. Functions on a 'HIRE & FIRE' policy; only the high performers can survive here. - ZERO GROWTH; No efforts on appraisal and performance review which means you will stay exactly where you were when you joined. - HIGH ATTRITION RATE - LACK OF TRAINING; There's no focus on learning and growth and complete absence of employee engagement - Client Base comprises of local, mid level companies that pay a very low fee for candidate placements; exposure is limited - Associate consultants earn a very very tiny percentage as commissions, which is close to nil. - Sick leaves are approved only on submitting a doctor's certificate (even for a single day)!
