      Pros

Good Pay, Less Work, Good Domain, Good Infrastructure Good Location

      Cons

Halliburton Pune is a very stupid company just because of the silly people sitting at the top of Pune management. There will be very bad managers who would not care about employees and only care about their position. The attrition is so high that the entire development team left the organization, mainly because of no work, silly managers, silly policies. No flexible timings. No WFH. Overhyped silly politics. Yes Boss culture at it's best. Absolutely silly and bad managers.

      Big Brand, Stupid mentality

      Pros

      1. Good pay scale 2. Global brand 3. Software department is having very less strength as compared to other companies so your work is visible.

      Cons

      1. HR policies here are the worst and moreover the way those are implemented is pathetic, for instance: i. Lot of leaves are there but stingy policies are there. 2 types of leaves cannot be combined, no carry forward, no cash for the leftover leaves. All the leaves will be elapsed at the end of the year. ii. No flexibility in timing, 9 hours in office mean you have to be in office from 10 AM to 7 PM. Even if it is from 10 to 10:30 AM, someone needs to be informed and a mail to the entire team will be send. You have no work but you have to complete 9 hours daily. iii. Dress code policy is a waste too. The dress which they think is appropriate is only considered as appropriate. Suppose you are not in proper dress according to these people you go back to your school days and send a mail to HR saying you are sorry for the same. 2. Everyone in this company thinks that they rule this company. Whether it is managers or HR or senior employees. In my professional career of 9 years I have never seen unprofessionalism like this. 3. Talking about work, at the time of interview you will be promised that the work quality here will be out of the world but actually it is nothing. You will be frustrated pretty soon after joining. 4. Coming to politics, this company is full of that. Disputes between Pune and Houston team leaders are tearing the team apart. Everyone is busy doing politics starting from centre head, moving towards team leaders, and even the HR. Worthless employees do nothing in this company but only politics. These types of people not only get promoted but also spread negativity in the team. 5. Because of these reasons attrition rate is shooting up day by day

      Pros

Good pay Good work life balance International assignments With the acquisition of Baker, expected to have more contacts.

      Cons

The work inherently is risky if one is working on the field. Being a niche industry, it can be a challenge to move to another industry.
