As an employee, they give you free coaching

Nothing is private. They demand to know everything about you in a cult-like fashion. They then share all of your personal information with EVERYONE. Not even celebrity information is safe, Look up narcissist in the dictionary, and you find a picture of their founder, Lauren Zander. If you work for the Chief Marketing Officer, you will surely be abused - mentally and emotionally. She is lawsuit waiting to happen. I have never experienced a boss as cruel as her. She may be mentally ill. If you value yourself, you will never approach these people. RUN AWAY!

Our company has a unique culture of transparency and honesty, which may not be suitable for everyone. In addition, please note that our former CMO has moved on from her position and a new individual now occupies that role.

Mostly friendly staff. Remote work location.

Founder/CEO is wildly unprofessional and has unsustainable and unreasonable work demands. She needs higher, relevant education about this line of work. The chief marketing officer has a lack of knowledge in the area and has an unstable, jealous attitude, where she routinely belittles others. HR hires, only to fire a short time later; employees are set up to fail, with unrealistic guidelines.

We respect the opinion of this former employee. Please note that our former CMO has moved on from her position and a new individual now occupies that role. Also note that the former employee appears to have confused the role of Founder / CEO into one, these are actually two separate individuals. Handel Group does have a unique company culture of team and individual accountability, and we believe in stretching ourselves to meet ambitious goals. This culture may not be a fit for every person.

Great Mission, but demoralizing

Pros

Great mission. People care about what they do. You get to own your piece of the pie. Method is a good tool.

Cons

Demoralizing. Leaders are harsh. Accountability is a mantra of the company but then it gets used against you. People are berated publicly. And then are asked to have a sense of humor about it. Issues/failures could be handled better and more professionally. Direction changes all the time. It impacts the bottom line and morale.
