    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Hazen and Sawyer full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

My first 4 years with the company has been a great experience. The culture at Hazen is very positive, but also very laid back. As a result I think our employees feel valued, and everyone seems to get along very well without the tendency for social cliques to form. It also seems like there are many opportunities for employees to learn new skills and to take their career trajectory into their own hands. Lastly, I have also found that the older employees are motivated to be mentors to younger employees, and this encourages a learning culture. This is a very professional company that is also one of the best at what it does, and I would highly recommend to anyone.

    Cons

Occasionally, long hours can be required to complete projects. However, management tries to limit this as much as possible, and compensates employees for overtime.

  3. "Great Company"

I have been working at Hazen and Sawyer full-time

    Pros

Great culture, challenging work, and a collaborative environment.

    Cons

The only con I can think of is that the company is smaller and does not have offices in all major cities.

I have been working at Hazen and Sawyer full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Hazen's high points are collaboration and passion. The one-bottom line business model allows our teams to leverage expertise across the nation and share our experiences to leverage our knowledge and ideas.

    Cons

The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing. This is more a pro, than con. However, some employees may see Hazen's focus on the business i.e. 'our clients' and 'solving industry issues' as being less "employee" focused.

I have been working at Hazen and Sawyer full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great learning experience for young engineers. Mentors are always open to offering their knowledge. They can get busy but make time to talk.

    Cons

Can sometimes get too busy; good for job security though!

    Former Employee - Intern

I worked at Hazen and Sawyer full-time

    Pros

The company was amazing and very fun to work for. The office atmosphere was great and everyone got along well. They kept me busy as an intern and I learned a lot about water and waste water processes. Definitely a fun and enjoyable experience.

    Cons

None. The company treats their employees well and takes care of them for sure. Nothing to complain about.
