I worked at Healthkart full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Good work life balance at upper management levels. (Specially if you are a working women and have kids) - Freshers in QA are given oppurtunities to be SDE -1/2 via internal promotions. - Good for freshers from TIER 2/3 colleges who wish to do crash course in AI, Machine Learning , Robotics (Yes it is there and they think they are building TESLA level products for their SMART stores). (They don't prefer hiring from IITs/NITs/ etc.)

    Cons

    - Using basic integrations(college level) of plethora of technologies(GraphQL, Spring*, Scala, Flutter, etc) and thus not a good fit for 2+ yrs experienced guys. - FIRING ANYTIME : you can wake up to check your mail and it doesn't exist. They did fire many Top performers during COVID'19. - Mid to Senior Level techies are majorly from same ex-firms and thus prone to heavy politics. (Some had first or second jobs at healthkart and are here forever) - NO work life, NO tech guidance, NO mentorship at any level. You have to build from scratch on your own and then mocked for the same by JUNIOR peers. - Same people existed in 2017 as in 2020 and will be in 202? . Its nearly impossible for a new joinee (be it ex-paytm, ex-flipkart) to surivive more than 1 year due to politics. - FAVOURITISM culture : since technology heads are involved in above point so you wont be HEARD !! - Strict deadlines for new employees (specially hk.com ) however some other leads haven't picked/completed projects in months. - Business Driven : Tech management is mostly controlled by business heads and have very less/NO say when it comes to building big projects.

    I worked at Healthkart full-time

    Pros

Can't think of any good point.

    Cons

    1) No work life balance, high work pressure, negative employee satisfaction. 2) Working env. is very very bad. Poor infrastructure. Unhygienic washrooms. Honestly not a good place to work. 3) They fired employees during covid pandemic too aggressively and promptly without even having a second thought as if they were waiting for it. They could have come up with other options like salary cut, unpaid leaves etc. but they believe in hiring and firing principle. 4) So no job security unless you have good reference in the company. 5) Your knowledge or talent or commitment will be of no use.
