very dormant work culture and shoddy work pratices

6 day week, early start of shift, militant union and indifferent management. Recklessly insensitive work attitudes are pervasive across most levels which has affected the culture and resulted in trust levels drop to minimum. Extremely harsh HR practices and policies. Appraisals and promotions are intransperant. The company even goes to the extent of harassing it's executives who resign, by refusing to issue relieving letters or causing inordinate delays. Offers extremely poor work life balance even for a psu. Executives invariably stay back for long hours to entertain their bosses who in turn stay back to impress theirs. Mobile phones are not permitted inside Divisions and whereever allowed permission is only for smartphones. Doesn't offer transport despite the early shift. Hospital is too full of hostile invonsiderate doctors and staff, that you would rather consult someone outside. Transfers and deployment are irrational and training needs are not scientifically arrived. Despite years of being in business HAL doesn't have SOPs nor internal coaches/mentors capable to addressing the day to day problems. Attrition is high am on entry and mid level execs yet management dismisses it as a triffle being only 2% overall.
