I worked at Hollister Co. part-time for more than a year

    Pros

This was a decent first job. The people were fun and I met a lot of friends from the job. I got scheduled when I wanted to work and getting time off wasn't too difficult.

    Cons

Call-in shifts can be frustrating. Management is very hit or miss. Great experience if you work with a good manager but horrible job if you have a poor manager.

I worked at Hollister Co. part-time

    Pros

group interview was pretty relaxed and easy

    Cons

all call-in shifts. I got one real shift and literally never got another one again. pretty horrible place to work. they interview people almost every single day and just keep hiring people, so you have to be 'in' with the manager to have a consistent schedule because they overhire. the turnover rate is horrible, most people quit.

  10. "Ok for extra money but poorly managed."

I have been working at Hollister Co. for more than a year

    Pros

    Flexible work around studies.

    Cons

Short shifts, often only 4-5 hours. Lots of call-in shifts which means you only get 1 hour's notice before a shift. There are lots of managers who vary hugely in management style and standards. Very little training.
