I have been working at Home Credit India full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    1. Let’s you try your hand on everything which will never come into being 2. Great office infrastructure 3. Lots and lots of people around hence great footprint across the length and breadth of the country

    Cons

    1. Absolute “coterie” culture 2. Top line of HR is clueless in when it comes to policy creation, implementation Organisational needs 3. Spineless and destructive HR mindset, means in many organisation HR is mere a puppet and toothless tiger, however here HR is the conspirator 4. Business objectives are still clear but HR function doesn’t know where they want to take this organisation in terms of objective growth path Manpower planning HR interventions etc 5. No job security whatsoever especially in Sales and HR that too across the hierarchy. Absurdly classic practice of seasonal and notional hiring and firing 6. No room for creativity if it doesn’t toe the line of the top line coterie 7. One function which guarantees you no work life balance that’s HR 8. Lastly, the most dangerous practice of HR top line here is, they’d pit the business and HR COEs / HRBPs against each other just to hold the leash in hand and to keep sensations alive. So that when things go out of hand they jump in and settle things by scapegoating and sacrificing their own HR people !! 9. Having spent more than 3 years, with a very heavy heart I’ll have to say, that this org is actually devoid of the most crucial element called “Culture” it’s full of negativity. 10. Join this org in any function but beware of the foxy and tricksy HR
