I have been working at HomeAway full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great vacation policies, benefits, super smart people

    Cons

The company has become all about the almighty dollar and the data and lost focus on the fact that the property owners are people and deserve to be treated with respect.

The culture they claim to have is not the culture you actively live. Plan to work 50-60 hours a week with little/no appreciation or acknowledgement that you're busting your butt.

    Advice to Management

Remember that without the property owners and property managers we don't have a business.
Remember that your long term employees are valuable and work hard and if you want to keep them you need to treat them with respect.
