I worked at Hospital Corporation of America full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The company is great. Pay and benefits good. Can work from home. Good people and young people with a degree can advance.

    Cons

Never have enough staff to cover calls. If you don't meet your goals on your performance plan you don't get a raise. Can be stressful because of work load and cannot work overtime to catch up.

    Advice to Management

Management should have stepped in as my manager was looking for ways to get rid of me when I was a top worker. I feel like after being a long term employee, they would have consulted me to get my side of story. You will get the best results from employees with encourage and praise. Instead only the negative is viewed.

I have been working at Hospital Corporation of America full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I have been very fortunate to work for HCA for 6 years and am so thankful for the career growth opportunities I have received here. It's so nice to work for an organization that values my growth and also has so many locations! I was able to transfer between states, and since starting with HCA, I have been given the chance to switch career paths. The benefits are great, and I appreciate that HCA rewards my loyalty. I'd recommend HCA to anyone!

    Cons

I hope HCA can continue to grow to even more locations!
