RecommendsNegative OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI have been working at IGT full-time for more than 10 years
Pros
Decent pay, benefits, work life balance, latest software, friendly coworkers, nice campus
Cons
Like a dark comedy of Dilbert. After a few years of working here, you're likely to start noticing the dog eat dog culture among the game studios, people always arguing how their way is the better way instead of coming to a consensus. Upper management can't seem to make up their minds and would rather spend millions moving entire departments in order to accommodate "their" personal feng shui, when in all practicality, everything is just fine where it's already at. Layoffs seem to occur at least once a year (usually in June or December). Lastly, if your not in the studio "alliance", then you're not "in".

Good work/life balance. Caring and supportive management. Always interesting problems to solve.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI worked at IGT full-time for more than 10 years
Pros
Cafeteria serves-up a damn fine burger.
Cons
No Game Plan. No passion. Too many people in key positions are there just for the paycheck. Upper management seems to be committed to mediocrity.

"Horrible Place to work for"

- Senior Management★★★★★
Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at IGT full-time for more than 10 years
Pros
There are no pros for working here. Management is horrible and they will fire any body and everybody at will. No reason necessary as they will create fake information to fire at will. Plus raises are virtually impossible to get unless you are a in the top 35% of the top performers. Otherwise no raises or promotions. This is a very shady place and I highly recommend not to apply for any jobs with IGT
Cons
Poor salaries, no raises, no room to grow, constantly lying to employees, no cares about employees life or development, poor management decisions and does not follow the company’s standards. Only way to move up and grow with the company is if you know someone from upper management

RecommendsNegative OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI have been working at IGT full-time for more than 5 years
Pros
It is my first job out of college. It is a good place to work, low stress, decent pay. My direct manager is great.
Cons
It is a corporate environment, and upper management feels detached. Unfortunately is seems like the work is drying up and being out sourced.

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookDisapproves of CEOI have been working at IGT full-time for more than 5 years
Pros
Variety because of so many different systems. Coworkers are great.
Cons
VERY understaffed, except at the top. They want projects done but don't budget for them and then won't approve the money for them. They blame the employees that couldn't get them done. Upper management doesn't talk to the techs and engineers that go on site and neither do the developers. Bad decisions made that end up in systems in casinos for the people that are onsite.

"Downward spiral with no clear direction or leadership; asleep at the wheel"

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI have been working at IGT full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
Decent pay, part of an awesome, small, self-managed team
Cons
Benefits in decline, no matter how much you take on and achieve you receive the same average rating as everyone else, middle management restrained by upper management to make necessary and basic thing happen, too slow to change to function as an effective organization.

"It used to be great"
Doesn't RecommendDisapproves of CEOI worked at IGT full-time for more than 10 years
Pros
The people you work with. The pay.
Cons
Upper management decided to take the practices of a bankrupt company and lay people off. All about the money there now and employees are merely numbers.

Pros
Generous benefits and plenty of PTO
Cons
Middle and upper management are very mis-guided. They chose to act only in ways to benefit themselves and advance their own careers.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI have been working at IGT full-time for more than 10 years
Pros
There are no pros. Upper management is horrible and does not have clue how to treat employees unless you happen to be one of the upper managements favorites.
Cons
Everything is a con with IGT. No where to grow with the company no matter how loyal you are to the company. Your considered a number and not an asset and will be cut at any minute upper management feels there needs to be a change which seems to happen ever few months. No guidance or help from anyone at IGT. I highly recommend not appling for position at IGT.
