I worked at Iceland Foods part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very understanding and flexible with shift hours, good working times, friendly staff, good wage regardless of age, variety of bonus incentives.

    Cons

Shifts can sometimes be understaffed, but not the store’s fault. This comes from labour hours available for staff being reliant on previous week’s intake.

    Advice to Management

Income reliant hours simply cause a cycle of decline, as emptier weeks can lead to lack of staff during much busier periods. Look towards alternative methods for how to allocate shifts for staff.

No option for flexibility to allow for real work/life balance. Cannot start early or later and no working from home.
