Pros

The only positive thing is the IDO

Cons

Worst management! All the good and caring leaders were gone, what's left now is a fake, incompetent, and inconsiderate management team. The culture is very much a 'HUNGER GAMES' style, with a lack of accountability, if you are not the management's favourites then good luck to you, and a toxic culture of backstabbing and blaming other people. Clients certainly not receiving what they paid for. It's just the sales team's tactic to hit their own target, no one cares to hit clients' agreed KPIs. There are no thought-through strategies to deliver the promises and we have limited resources to deliver good work for clients, no wonder there are a lot of unhappy clients. They talk a lot about having a great culture and that they are 'People First', however a ping pong table and Friday drinks are not what makes a great culture and no, definitely not people first! more so profit first. People who left are not being replaced, if they are, they will be replaced by an offshore team. Culture is very cliquey, timesheets are being monitored because the management doesn't trust anyone, and if you are looking to progress your career, Impressive is not the place. There's no training & development program, the 'wellbeing wallet' is a way to throw money at people so they shut up and hope they won't ask for more. If you want to progress, unfortunately, you need to play the political games and get the useless MD/CEO's attention. Constant changes to the business show that decisions are being made without a solid plan or being thought through properly. So many people left the business! Feeling very insecure about my employment here at Impressive.

Pros

The fancy parties. If you value fancy parties over a psychologically safe workplace. The long hours, the pressure to deliver beyond what's reasonable, the lack of trust, the lack of opportunity to innovate — if you value fancy parties over being valued by the place you work, you totally should work at Impressive.

Cons

They will expect you to work 11 hours a day. Even then you'll be told you are under performing or faking your timesheet. They can see the number of clients and tasks you are assigned to, and how much time is required for each task? How do you expect to create a positive working environment when there's no trust? Clients come and go as they keep taking on more clients even when there's no resources. They promise clients the world and then fail to deliver. Two staff members in my team resigned. There was no support from management. Only an additional project that meant I had to work until 7 or 8pm every single day. Overdue tasks were getting out of control. There's never anytime to innovate as you are constantly racing against the clock trying to deliver the bare minimum.

Pros

- One day of paid leave every month. - Fruit bowl

Cons

- Favouritism (your place in the company is pretty much determined by your relationship with the management team.) - Fake and pretentious culture (if you have to emphasise how FUN you are as a company soooo many times then you know the truth is the polar opposite.)
