I have been working at Influitive full-time

    Pros

Great place to work. The culture and the people are amazing and the work is exciting.

    Cons

Direction is often changing so if you're looking to clock in and clock out, working on the same thing for long periods of time, this might not be the place for you.

    Advice to Management

Work on retaining the amazing people you already have

Thanks for your review. I love that you find the culture and people amazing and more importantly as a senior engineer, you find the work exciting. It's an interesting point on the changing direction. I've recently made major efforts to reduce context switching in my own job and ...

I have been working at Influitive full-time for less than a year

    Pros

I find the energy and motivation of my team to be amazing, despite a few bumps along the road the teams focus and motivation to achieve our mission is clearly visible. I work remotely in the U.S. away from the Toronto headquarters and have had a fantastic experience so far. The company is very accommodating to the remote experience and makes a noticeable effort to make sure remotes are included in as many events at...

    Cons

Onboarding could use some review, very much a pick it up as you go process at the moment It is still an early stage company and with that comes a fast paced environment, the need to wear multiple hats and some un predictability. This isn't a con for me personally but I realize it may not be for everyone.

    Advice to Management

    Look into onboarding processes

Thanks for your review, and your recognition of our remote experience. It's something we have worked really hard at, and we are still very far away from my vision in this area. Please keep the prioritized feedback on how we can improve. On the onboarding - I agree we have work ...

    I worked at Influitive full-time

    Pros

-They take learning & coaching very seriously - you will develop new skills working at Influitive that will benefit you for the rest of your career. -The company is very open & transparent about everything - you feel like you're always in-the-know! -Competitive pay, well designed office space, great office perks/amenities, decent benefits. -Despite two rounds of layoffs in 7 months and a product with some big gaps,...

    Cons

-The culture is a little fragmented and morale seemed low. -Some level of false entitlement among employees - I got the impression people felt they were owed more than they actually deserved (rapid career advancement, pay increases, vanity titles, etc) -They have been through two rounds of layoffs and a lot of attrition after cutting costs and restructuring. -There are some people who love to complain and gossip -...

    Advice to Management

-Set the right expectations when you hire people - people won't feel owed what they aren't promised. -Be empathetic when making decisions that involve people's livelihood. Obviously things have to make business sense, but there's always room for more empathy.

I have been working at Influitive full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    - Management invested in personal development - Transparency across the entire business. - Constant learning opportunities - Your role has measurable impact in the future of the business - Ability to network with fantastic mentors and leadership - Fun culture with lots of perks. -

    Cons

It's going to be tough meeting the 20 word minimum on this. This is not a 9-5 job. If that's what your 're looking for Influitive is not the place for you. In others words, there are no boring people who just get by Everyone here love what they do and are moving the company forward ;)

    Advice to Management

I have been working at Influitive full-time

    Pros

    - inspiring industry to work in (creating the category of advocacy!) - fast pace environment - big on empowerment (if you put your hand up you can get involved with almost anything) - strong leadership team - great people - great perks including unlimited vacation, training and development budget, beautiful office, free lunches, accepting of remote workers, etc.

    Cons

    - you need to be ok with ambiguity and change to work here (not a bad thing, but something to be aware of) - it can be tough to have good work-life balance if you don't really manage it

I have been working at Influitive full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The interview process was very detailed. I had a few interviews: - HR over the phone - HR and Manager in person - VP and teammates in person Each stage of the process went smoothly and they made sure that all of my questions were answered. The process really made me feel comfortable and part of the team even before signing on. I have been here for a month now and it is a very fast paced environment. Everyone...

    Cons

i haven't seen any downsides yet. This is a company that seems to live by the values they communicate to their employees. There has been some recent restructuring but I attribute that to a growing SaaS company.

    Advice to Management

I worked at Influitive full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Lots of benefits, some lunches provided (3/week when I was there), in-house gym and showers, large office, learning budget (attended 2 conferences in the US) - Quick-paced environment keeps you on your feet. - Great team, and amazing people to work with!

    Cons

    - Difficult to understand the product direction. Seems to be a rift between the Buisness side and product. - CEO and Leadership team have a large set of values, some of which I don't feel meet with their real goals.

    Advice to Management

    - Align on a smaller set of values that drive towards the Leadership Team's real goals. - Cement a product direction based on Customer Data and Learnings. - Focus on product over sales, and try to dog food the product more among everyone. - Explore B2C markets. - Utilize new technologies (VR, Beacons) to their fullest potential instead of leaving them to the sidelines. - Avoid silos in the organization as much as...
