I worked at Infosys full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

They offer good benefits above the law but they are falling behind the market of IT firms in that regard. Good training material available Decent facilities in general Dress code is relaxed At least for me, I had salary hikes every year according to inflation I was exposed to international working experience Decent work-life balance Oportunities to work with international clients on site, but...(read cons) A Little bit above the average salaries in the market

    Cons

When they send you to another country, expenses policies are very very poor and normally it cost you a lot of money from your pocket to travel and settle in a new country and your first salary takes ages to come.... You never know for how long you´ll be assigned abroad, so you can't plan anything with your family for mid or long term. You could be living in the US for 1, 2 or 7 seven years and suddenly they pull the plug and you are kind of deported...that's kind of depressing. People who manage (?) the bench do a terrible job, they don't know what to do with the people and they assigning resources to postitions that have nothing to do with the skills set of resources and that causes frustation to Project managers and clients… Once the assigment is done, they put you in a box and forget about you. Facilities guy is always in a bad mood and you almost have to beg him for a parking card and things like that...has very despotic manners, it was always awkward to request something to him... Coffee is horrible!...I know it's complementary but I doesn't have to be that bad...

I worked at Infosys full-time for less than a year

    Pros

There's always work to be done, they work with big clients and they try to allocate you wherever is possible. The people that work there are very intelligent and have an international culture

    Cons

If they are not able to find you a project, you will be in the bench with nothing to do. They don't have a backup plan when this happens. HR doesn't care about employees, they are customer driven.

I have been working at Infosys full-time for more than a year

    Pros

There's good work-life balance with most clients. Salary is competitive and there are options to develop. Management is rather flaxible and understanding. And there are a lot of resources to learn and get experience. It's a great starting place.

    Cons

Most projects are support, so while resources learning resources are great, there aren't that many options to apply them. Specially if you are oriented to develop applications.

I have been working at Infosys full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

It is a good company, 100% legal and 100% payroll. You are entitled to 10 holidays a year (even if in Mexico we only have 4 or 6 mandatory holidays, they sum up to always have 10 days off). Vacations are prorated across the year, so you are able to use them on month one. Also, you can accumulate up to 2 years of vacations for a long trip. Strict and flexible Management at the same time

    Cons

No importance to employees. Employee engagement left entirely to delivery, HR is rarely concern of their employees, they are more as an independent department than an actual service provider. Travel policies are very poor. Their main focus relies on numbers and not on inclusiveness.

    Pros

As with all companies, the processes and all other stuffs are nice. Its employee friendly.

    Cons

Growth is slow if you are in Units where promotion slots are less. I have performance ratings of 1+ consistently for last 3 years and with 12 ywars experience i'm not promoted due to lack of slots.
