    Pros

Only positive thing in the company is it's CEO. He has a great character and vision ,but these things are required for any person to be successful in his own life ,and i respect him for that but if you see his policies from a company's growth prospective then you will find out that he takes the things(regular small things inside a company) very personally(on his ego) and then make the policies, which is not a good sign of a manger and also not good for any company's growth . Policies are not employee-centric but CEO -centric . This company will give you a reason to understand that why MBA is needed for a managerial position because except one or two, all their managers lack leadership, managerial and most important the motivational skills. They don't even know how to distribute the work properly. They think that cutting an elephant into two is equal to two elephants. HR policy is spineless. They can change it anytime and they don't even inform about the change.Funny part is that if you talk any logic to them they will either tell that CEO has told like this or they will tell that they have to ask with CEO. They can't take even a penny decision from their side. You can even feel sorry for them. They basically make ERP product and the product is very interesting to work on ,if you have interest in programming but their poor management has made almost every employee hate their profession and the product as well. Good thing is that the company will surely force you to think that what you want from your life because of all these useless things? The basic framework for development is written in Japan(WorksApp) and the Integration work(developing screens using that framework) is done in India, so they need not respect and recognise the hard work of their employees in India and at any moment they can tell anyone to leave the company irrespective of the employee's hard work and employee's contribution , since any good computer engineer can do the integration work and you don't need any great experience for that. Salary is quite average in comparison to other good product based company but CEO will always boast about it by comparing it with other service based company. Since most of the employee force are fresh graduates, the employees are not aware that any good product based company will pay more salary than this and will also give respect for the amount of effort and hard work the employees put to make their work-life balance zero. Appraisal policy is based on how much you can butter the managers. For buttering you need to come on weekends even if you don't have work. They say their working hour is from 9AM-6PM. But to butter the managers you need to be in office by at least 8:30PM,even though you might have come early or might have finished the work early .(You can't even imagine, Above mentioned things about appraisal policy are implicit inside company but sometimes your TL or Mangers can even enforce rules like these on you). Appraisal is directly proportional to amount of hour you have spend in company plus buttering capacity and inversely proportional to the efficient working. If you finish work and try to leave at 6,you will come in everyone's eye.I believe the employee's are also equally culprit for this to make this as a company culture. Only reason the company is running is because unemployment rate is very high in country so people are forced to work here even in this condition. What the management is not able to understand is that because of all these things there employee turnover rate is very high and which eventually leads to low grade code quality and lack of learning on product knowledge to solve bugs. If by chance you succeed also then please don't do this mistake to give credit to yourself or your management. All credit goes to the unemployment rate and basic money need of common people for surviving and to run the family. I am not sure, but there are chances that either CEO is surrounded by the bunch of blindly trusted people(who might have proven their worth in past but surely not now), who are somehow managing to manipulate or hide the real situation inside the company or may be CEO is too much high in his ego that he is not able to see all this. In short, If you come out of company then you will start loving this world and you can sustain at any other company very easily.I am really thankful that Infoview has happened in my life and I have started loving my life and this world after this.

    Pros

    No pros except good salary

    Cons

    1. There is no work life balance. You have to work from 9am to 9pm and even if you leave by 9 your manager will think you are leaving early 2. PMO and TL think that they are the CEO of the company 3. There is no professional behavior of the managers 4. If you ask for leave your manager will approve it and if you took leave then your appraisal will be poor 5. HR team is not useful, employee couldn't be able to highlight their concerns to the HR. HR will also behave rude. 6. This company gives you a feel that you are in a strict school 7. You will be treated as a slave here I would have given 0 star rating if Glassdoor have that option

I worked at Infoview Technologies Pvt Limited full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    1. The product they build is good. The technologies used are all pretty good and latest ( though the people in there couldn't use them effectively) 2. Their own self-made framework makes the work more easier and less cumbersome. 3. If you've graduated from colleges other than the creamy ones, where only the service companies show up for placements / not even they get in for placements, you could say the pay they provide is quite decent. 4. 9 - 6 work timing is pretty good, and the policy to not work late is also good. 5. You could sharpen your debugging skills, as that is the only thing that'll help you survive here. 6. Bonding among peers is good. You could say, not many people are reserved. You could get in touch with almost anybody inside (except few) 7. Heard from peers that the insurance policy is good (never used it myself) 8. If you could work really, really fast despite the problems faced due to dependencies and stuff, there's a good probability to maintain your work-life balance. 9. Good cultural fest once an year - good place where your extra curricular talent is recognized pretty well - The cultural team does their job pretty well despite their regular work.

    Cons

    1. Though the tech they work on is good, there wouldn't be much freedom to research on what you work, because your knowledge on the tech would be limited to either what you already know or what you would analyze on the framework that you use on a day to day basis. NO INTERNET facility to get help from any of the open source community, especially NO STACKOVERFLOW. 2. The framework is self-built and lacks proper documentation. So, it'd be tedious to get your hands on it. Unless you debug the framework code yourself, you'd learn nothing new here. 3. There would be lots of dependencies in code, so if a deployment fails, you might want to wait a long time before you could push your work to the production servers, which will eventually slow down the entire process. ( This is where all the extra time you spend in the office burns out - so their not to work late policy becomes futile because of this. ) 4. After a while, the work might become boring, as you'd be doing the same thing again and again. 5. CEO would behave more like a dictator rather than being an efficient leader. Any policy that you would've agreed to and signed when you joined may not be there the next day. 6. The work wouldn't be evenly split among the employees, in fact, no body in here knows how the work in split among everyone. Most of the times, there wouldn't be much work for anyone. ( I stayed idle for close to 3 months before I quit ) 7. 90 % of the employees joined the company in 2016 and most of them have similar knowledge - so knowledge that you gain from your peers might be very very minimal. 8. Pretty decent leave policy of 36 days per annum, but you must let employees take their time off they earned. Why'd you have a leave policy if anybody shouldn't utilise it to the full extent ? - No leave would be encouraged on friday/monday or during national holidays. 9. The medium of communication in here is mostly Tamil, and since they work with Japanese people, the top management would converse in Japanese, and the rest of the team had to struggle to understand the English accent of the Japanese people. Not everybody is good in written or verbal communication in English, though being an IT firm. 10. 9 hour work schedule per day is all okay. But, it'll be followed so strict that the day shouldn't be 10 - 7 or 8 -5. Only 9 - 6 ( Would be better if this is a bit flexible) 11. The CEO would consider the top most companies to be his competitors, but when his own standards has to be compared to, he'd compare them to the rest of the service companies and not to the ones he considers as competitors. 12. The management boasts about the pay being the best in the industry, while the actual pay they provide is still way below the bars of the other product based IT firms. ( Though I agree the pay is quite good compared to the other services based IT firms. ) 13. There clearly is a lack of trust for the management on the employees. Trust is a two way street, If you expect the employees to trust the firm, the firm should trust each and every individual you hire. That is missing here. 14. The CEO would consider that your time belongs to him and the firm as he pays you for 8 hours a day, and you wouldn't even be allowed to listen to music to relax a bit at work. How can you really expect anybody to work non-stop for 8 hours ? 15. The DRESS CODE - Now it's okay to be in formals. No Big deal, but that shouldn't be enforced on the employees. They'd work better if they feel comfortable. Wouldn't a decent attire suffice ? And that rule doesn't apply to the CEO. He'd always be in a dark colored round-neck T - Shirt and a light colored CASUAL pant. If you're enforcing a rule, please at least try to follow it yourself and be an example to the people who work for you. 16. Pathetic top level management - Apart from the CEO, everybody else would only follow the orders. There is no innovation, encouragement or motivation from the managerial team to the employees. They don't even know to allocate work properly. No body in the top management holds an MBA, which is a major set back for the firm not because of the degree, but the knowledge to manage work is missing. 17. There is proper metric to analyze the performance of an employee. The ratings are purely random, and appraisal though you work hard, would be a generalised one and not based on your actual perfomance. So, eventually, you end up getting something less than you actually deserve. 18. You'll be TRAINEE for more than 3 years, and not just in the probation. Job profile levels maintained are pathetic. Never even heard of someone being a trainee in the IT product based firm for 3 years except here. 19. There is no encashment for the earned leaves that you'd have accumulated over the years. They'd be wasted anyways.

    Pros

U can learn Japanese , nothing else. if you are in 2015 batch , then you will be in golden spoon. Try to join in committee team , so you can enjoy your work.

    Cons

As the company profile states as a product development company , it does not really mean it ! By giving high salary at the start of the career and firing out from the organisation at end of year or two is the bread and butter for the company management. You cant learn any new skills , even you cant able to update your skill set as you had in your college days. you have to do the maintenance work for the whole day , the modules were already did by client in 2 years back. you can simply copy paste your code from there ." no works for your brain " only for keyboard ctrl c/v . There is no cafeteria facilities , since they are not running any restaurants there is no sports , extra curricular activities since they are not running any club. there is no meaning that some of the good developers were pushed into testing for a month , years they cant even come back to development side. there is no proper system for rating , simply hike depends on the present lead. it doesn't matter if you join in his team before a day. bcz they cant able to track your old ratings since you will be moved to new team in every two months. Management doesnot bother about the employees in any situation. There may be leave on the paper , but you are not allowed to make use of it. Management peoples will conduct meeting only with good performers as they fixed you as low performer you should be a low performer.you will not get any feedback from their side. Only feedback you can get is relieving letter . there will not be any work life balance you may pushed to complete the task within date as they fixed , if its delayed by a day or two they will make it as big issue in the company . but the developed modules will not be delivered after 12 months... in that case , it may not be the issue. you cannot able to switch to other company as you have learned nothing in the latest technology. best place to lose your career as a fresher.
