I have been working at InnerWorkings full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

None really. Maybe just nice clients

    Cons

If you are a potential client - run! A lot of clients are very unhappy with INWK. Many employees are also unhappy but pretend to be whenever the VPs are around. VPs are tone deaf. Many people on the lower level are paid WAY BELOW market average. You will do the work of 2-3 people with a meager raise each year (if that). If someone leaves, you will also do their work. Management is terrible. Most of management has no experience managing people. Layoffs/hiring freezes happen all the time. They do not care about their people and no one has any loyalty here. Most of the good people have started to leave. You are pretty much left with the weakest workers and then management wonders why the company isn’t doing as well as it should be. Don’t believe the pretty image they paint of themselves on social media channels - this company is a mess and there is not a single person who doesn’t talk about quitting. If you are a potential client, you will regret signing on with this company.

I have been working at InnerWorkings full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The company offers a very specific service to clients that is needed. I've also met some really great people through this company. Learned a lot in a "thrown to the sharks" kind of way.

    Cons

HQ does a bad job of taking care of onsite employees. Extremely expensive medical benefits. Hard time retaining good employees as they are extremely overworked, under-appreciated, and DEFINITELY underpaid. They cut down employees to the bare minimum and expect each person to do the job of 2-3 people. Once that doesn't happen, only come back when one person can't meet client needs all alone.

    Pros

It's a company that is supposed to trade in NASDAQ

    Cons

There's no growth, nor development. Your academic background is irrelevant, the company doesn't care about your skills
