I worked at Intercontinental Hotels & Resorts full-time for more than 4 years

    Pros

    Good Colleagues, open door policy

    Cons

Completion of daily tasks does not contribute significantly to work performance, additional side projects play a more important role. As the title suggests, management seems to chase after the dollar more than taking care of all the guests. Highly taxing on front line staff as staff have to consistently apologize on behalf management for not delivering what is expected. Huge MNC, alot of standards, restrictions...

As a premier luxury hotel, there are always last-minute/everyday challenges typical of operating such a hotel of this caliber.
