I have been working at Intuit full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

this is a company I'd love to retire. Great benefits, non aggressive work culture, adopts new ways of working and has some very intelligent people

    Cons

The company is too meek. In trying to establish itself as an employer of choice, it does not differentiate between the performers and non-performers. Performance is driven by perception than reality. So all the "loud" perception management people get better rewards than the people who actually perform.

    Advice to Management

Continue to keep humble and continue to be awesome. Don't judge people, judge only their performance. Don't get carried away by movements such as diversity etc.,

I have been working at Intuit full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

As a product manager: - Great empowerment and end-to-end ownership of the areas that you lead (very tough to replicate at other companies in Bangalore) - PM at Intuit is like getting a PhD in Product Management - the customer obsession, the extensive body of knowledge, the focus on PM craft are simply amazing In general: love the explicitly stated, detailed values - Intuit lives and breathes by them in every... aspect

    Cons

    - There is a high standard Intuit way of doing things - it's great, but takes some time getting used to

    Advice to Management

In Bangalore, give equal importance to innovation and pace, apart from people engagement and building great products.

I have been working at Intuit full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

You get paid on par with other product engineering companies, you are promised the heaven by the talent acquisition team in terms of work culture, technologies , innovation etc.

    Cons

Everything which was told to you during the interview will be the opposite when you join this company. Some tenured business leaders have become incompetent over time. You are required to massage their ego everyday in order to survive otherwise you will be fired. This is a company which requires you to keep shouting out loud on any routine work you do. There are folks who would do minimum work and come to work 2-3... days a week but project that they have moved the mountains. If you belong to that category you could easily make a career at Intuit, IDC.

Please wake up and smell the coffee before its too late.......and please advise your talent acquisition team to be truthful and work with integrity

I have been working at Intuit full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

The company takes very good care of its women employees. Our MD is rated based on gender diversity. There are communities and groups focused on getting our women employees ahead of the others. Women are given a quicker promotion path within the company. Diversity is something that has been dictated from the HQ, and has been implemented very well as gender diversity in the bangalore office. Pretty competitive in the... pay structure as well.

    Cons

The company is very relationship based. Which means output sometimes takes a backseat. God forgive you if you are a male employee with a heads-down approach to work. If you are a talented guy, it may be better to look elsewhere. Unless, you are someone who can build relations to move your career forward.
