Doesn't RecommendPositive OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI have been working at Ipreo full-time for more than a year
Pros
Ipreo has a lot of young people that makes for a fun work environment. The company is growing fast which is cool to experience and be a part of. Client-facing individuals get early exposure to high-level executives at publicly traded companies.
Cons
Pay isn't good, especially considering how "fast we are growing." Long hours without great processes or transparency. Conflicting messages from management. We are advised to call our clients and to develop relationships with them because "clients don't fire their friends," yet when someone leaves they try to hide it and keep it under wraps. CEO seems out of touch with the rest of the company. Very persuasive, which is a positive, but does not come off as caring about the employees.

Doesn't RecommendPositive OutlookApproves of CEOI have been working at Ipreo full-time
Pros
Hires out of college with relatively little experience Gives you a lot of great experience Lots of cool people
Cons
Low Pay, Mandatory long hours (even if you have nothing pressing to work on) Massive disconnect between HR/Upper Management and Middle Management You will be yelled at frequently for not knowing things you have no possible way of knowing Constant turnover means you will constantly be increasing workload and responsibilities with no matching increase in compensation

Doesn't RecommendPositive OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI worked at Ipreo full-time for more than 10 years
Pros
Bleeding edge of technolgey Some great people to work with
Cons
Things got done at the cost of work-life balance The high turnover rate is due to the lack of vertical mobility and stagnant salaries, Also hard work is unappreciated and long hours are required. Lack of trust from upper managment, a lot of micro managment.

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI have been working at Ipreo full-time
Pros
Great place for students right out of college, 20 PTO days. Most people leave after 1-2 years.
Cons
Long hours, low pay. Nepotism in the workplace. High turnover rate. Employees are not recognized and disregarded. Management can hire people in Raleigh for lower salary.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI have been working at Ipreo full-time for less than a year
Pros
Lots of responsibility quickly - interact with the Investor Relations teams and the C-suite of publicly traded companies right away. Lots of smart, ambitious coworkers. Great learning environment for someone right out of college. It's a great job if you love the market.
Cons
Long hours, often taken for granted and ultimately unrewarded. Lunch breaks are rare. No overtime pay - position in GMI is salary, so you get paid the same if you work 40 hrs or 80 hrs. -- And overtime is a regular part of the job, not every so often. HR doesn't know the job very well so doesn't represent the position effectively to prospects. Hamster-wheel feeling: you're sending out the same deliverables every day, week, month, etc. If anything, it gets boring after awhile.
