Pros

- People were friendly - Pay was good

Cons

Tbh I don't see this company being around much longer from my experience. So take some serious time before deciding on taking the opportunity. For background info (Believe it or don't but here is my piece) while at this company, I: - Came in early everyday. (Turned the lights on) - I left after every sales rep, every day - Was approached by the company, did not apply for the role before speaking with management - Training is made up along the way with a mix of eLearning website, Web-meetings, and in conference chats - The Mission is scattered across management and employees and no one agrees on where the BDR team fits. - Guard rails everywhere. - Can't send an email unless its approved by marketing, even if the prospect has specific content they request in an email - Only form of prospecting is done through public info (They don't invest in finding good contact info) - Meetings are frequent enough that team members lose hours of their day that can be used for making calls. - They don't use "scripts" but "methods" which they demand their team to use (Despite a decline in sales revenue over multiple quarters and prospects rarely picking up) - Cadences are changed up every 2 to 3 weeks. So no data on what works because things are changed constantly - Unstable job. Was hired and let go being my 90 days, after being told 3 weeks into the job that the CEO was planning to cut jobs to reduce costs (Then why hire so many people in a recession?)

Pros

Company is the size where it's small enough to know stakeholders and product owners personally, but big enough to have stability in work. They are pretty open about company financials to employees. WFH needs no special process.

Cons

Full disclosure, I was fired from this company. Prior to getting fired, I was given no notice that I was under-performing or I needed improvement. Most companies will at least have a manager tell you "Hey, you need to step it up". Every company I've been to larger than 50 employees except this one has had one-on-ones and regular reviews. There is a lack of clear reviews or goals for employees at this company. The hiring process for the Labs division is drawn out and unprofessional. Applicants are given a task of a personal project, which involves at least four hours of work. Afterwards, if they're selected to go forward, they're supposed to present their project and answer questions. In practice, the commitment this process requires means that few potential applicants bother to apply for these positions. Make the process like any other tech company, and I guarantee that hiring will be easier. The structure of the company is relatively flat, which has its benefits, but that and the lack of a consistent review process also means there's little opportunity for career growth in the role. The pay was pretty decent for the Atlanta area pre-pandemic, but now that remote work for higher paying companies is much more accessible, the company needs to pay better salaries. Also no bonus or stock, which is typically given in tech companies.

Very toxic culture

Pros

Base salary is somewhat competitive

Cons

The other reviews are correct. Stay away from this toxic company, it’s not worth derailing your career. First of all, no one hits quota. Ever. That leads to constant turnover because people either quit or get fired on a whim. The marketing department controls the sales process because, after all these years, there’s still no real product–market fit. They can’t generate inbound leads, so you’ll be cold-calling all day like a monkey. The environment is extremely toxic, and nepotism is rampant, with multiple family members working in the company.
