    The pay is good, can make good friends, not bad social life, lots of funny stories

    Cons

    Long hours, finishing late, usually short staffed and overworked, customers are a mix but in general not great, if you work long enough you will receive at least some verbal abuse and threats

    Treat your staff better

    Ability to move between pubs Flexible work hours Pub environment can sometimes be enjoyable

    Cons

    Not great pay Long hours - closes at busy pubs are a nightmare Can get very difficult customers Just not that fun to work for - very slow progression if you move pubs
