    Pros

    I learnt a lot whilst working in Web a Analytics at Jet2. I had the opportunity to develop a great range of skills, despite being new to the field initially. Nice and enthusiastic people to work with at a junior level in marketing.

    Cons

    The marketing department, and office culture in general, are very political and hierarchical. There is clear favouritism at a senior level, which can be a challenging environment to work productively within. They are also not as data-driven and innovative as advertised, due to the strict corporate nature of the company. I think this let down many of the digital efforts persued within 'Jet2Labs' and made my role fairly restrictive. The training of management is also poor, which meant that junior colleagues did not always receive the level of support required to progress. Moreover, I found that many of the management team were less qualified than members within those teams, which often led to an underlying resentment when progression was not offered to those with relevant skills.

    The people, you can meet friends for life and there are good social events, pay was good

    Cons

    Extreme bullying culture from the CEO down, the CEO swears at staff and throws furniture, if he doesnt like someone they go through the 'trap door' and legal loopholes are used to get rid of people who have actually done nothing wrong, i am aware of 20+ people this has happened to and dont know how they get away with it, all of the directors are white middle aged men who talk down to women, there is no mental health policy and i was openly asked to speak to HR about 'how to get rid' of a team member when i asked for help with her being regularly absent due to poor mental health, you are expected to work all hours for little to no reward with my average working day being 8am-11pm weekends included. People were regularly crying in the toilets, turnover was ridiculous, i left 2 years ago and friends still there say nothing has changed...do not work here if you value your mental health!
