I have been working at Jet2.com full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    MMMmmmmm plenty of breaks

    Cons

Supervisors don't do much supervising ! They say we are no different than ramp staff ? But you get treated completely different, Ramp staff can sit in crew room until 30 mins before flight lands ! Baggage staff are told to come back from there crew room an hour and half before the first flight as even landed ! and all stand about in the hall

    Advice to Management

Get a grip on whats going on ? and stop treating baggage staff like they are easy replaceable so it doesn't matter how they are treated

    I worked at Jet2.com part-time

    Pros

    Paid training if you're accepted

    Cons

    What should I start with?
-Manager showed up over half an hour later then the hour stated in the email for an interview.
-Interviews are held at the bar table next to the sale's office, with people around you who can hear everything you say.
-First question was "Where are you from?", so they can judge whether they hire you or not.
-Easy questions, although the manager was trying to make me give a wrong answer, for example asking with a low voice "do you really think it's that important working in a team?", not hard to guess she was trying to make me say "no, it's more important to succeed by yourself, without considering if the team needs help or not."
-Got an email the next day, Saturday, saying I was rejected, but with no further explanation why.

    Advice to Management

If you state Jet2.com is an equal opportunity provider, regardless of age, nationality, race, etc. make sure your team applies the rules too.
Also, maybe it was just me, but a professional interview shouldn't be held at a bar table, along with people eating or drinking.
Last, if the lack of experience is a problem, it is common sense not to waste candidates time and money by traveling for a pointless interview where they stand no chance from the beginning. Put yourself in other's shoes.

Office workers, your face really has to fit. Very nit-picky about time management and in general some managers haven’t quite grasped the differences between performance management and intimidation!!

    Advice to Management

Have a structured plan in place for all team members where consistency and company ethics and morals are really promoted
