    I worked at Jimmy John's full-time

    Pros

    Fellow team members were great

    Cons

Jimmy didn't care about his team, just his bottom line. He then sold so no clue how current management team is

I worked at Jimmy John's full-time for more than a year

    Pros

People are awesome passionate and always strive to be the best. It really is a good learning opportunity but after a point there is no further that you can go.

    Cons

Company has zero value for employees. No 401k match, bad benefits, work you like a mule for zero reward. Cheapest company I have worked for when booking flights and hotels all have to be below a dollar amount which is insanely cheap so don't expect to stay anywhere nice when you're on the road. Outdated process for expense reports I mean come on it's the 21st century I shouldn't have to type, print and then take my expense report to the post office by a deadline or I get a paperwork error. How about investing some money in your systems.

I worked at Jimmy John's full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Casual uniforms, health insurance, games in the office you can look at but can't play

    Cons

Hypocritical in many respects causes business coaches and franchisees to become frustrated. Zero flexibility for family matters so don't let anyone in your home get sick and don't have a kid that can't get to and from school themselves because you won't be able to help. Not a good environment if you have a family/partner/social life. Strict adherence to in-store working hours regardless of travel time to store locations means you could be working for less than $15/hour when factoring in-store time / travel / office work hours in a week. Special permissions needed for most air travel because they don't trust you to pick the best flights. I made 50% more income managing a store than as a business coach.

I worked at Jimmy John's full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Structure, feedback, high energy culture. Compensation package and structured raises are great to look forward to. Jimmy still sends out popcorn every year.

    Cons

Will push you to work beyond your means and is a culture of its not good enough.

I worked at Jimmy John's full-time for less than a year

    Pros

High salary, clean stores, and an overall impressive business model. High standards for employees create a uniform working environment from store to store.

    Cons

You will work 6 a.m. to about 5:30 p.m. each day in training (if you're lucky). You constantly have someone stand behind you and criticize the most useless details of how you prepare a sandwich. You are not offered any breaks in your shift. In a 24 hour period, about 14 hours is spent preparing for work, working, and driving to and from work. How you use the other 10 hours is up to you.
