Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI have been working at John Crane full-time for more than 10 years
Pros
Good people to work with.
Cons
Very political environment. The products we produce are becoming simpler and simpler to make. We currently make very high profit margins, but customers are becoming wise to this now. With technology such as 3D printing coming available then the company should change drastically, but I don't see this and in my opinion the company is sinking fast.

"Tulsa Facility not bad, but has QA and Management Issues"

RecommendsNeutral OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI worked at John Crane full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
Most of the people are very good people. They come to work, do what is asked and go home. A few of the employees are work-a-holics. The warehouse has pretty regular turnover, but other than that the shop is pretty much the same people all the time. The production manager is very much involved and was a welcome relief to her predecessor. Safety is very important to John Crane. They have a consultant that works really hard and is very involved. The engineers and drafters are very helpful. They put air conditioning in the shop.
Cons
The QA lady is very opinionated, and is in constant need of attention. What is sad is that the company has lost several good employees because of her. If corporate says no raises - no raises. The facility spends tons of money on things like painting this and reflooring that - we'd really just like a raise.

The customer service levels from the customer service group, have declined over the last year Management doesn't always listen to the people who do the work. Not a lot of room for advancement.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI have been working at John Crane full-time
Pros
SOME good people to work with.
Cons
There is no opportunity for career growth or movement; unless you are one of managements pets then you are promoted and some to new made up positions. Nobody seems to want this place to be better. Nobody does there job, just waits for someone else to handle it. Managers run around putting out the same fire over and over instead of fixing the issue. Blame and shame is the typical management style. Don't even have a current CEO just an acting one until replacement is found.
