Flexible hours, good benefits, and a lot of schools assignment

No job in summer and not pay for a holiday.
Pros
Set own hours, take jobs as you wish. I was able to take extended leave to take care of my terminally ill father, and my job was waiting for me when I was ready to come back.

Low pay, staff not able to help with immediate issues while on a job.

Pros
Their daily rates are competitive and they give the opportunity to become a building permanent sub. This means you no longer work per diem and are assigned every day to a building, whether they have a scheduled opening or not.
Cons
They have benefits, but I didn’t look too far into them because it was the telemedicine stuff. Sometimes I don’t get important information about things like closings because I’m not on any of the district email lists, and Kelly doesn’t really do that. This has been especially frustrating during COVID-19 when rules and restrictions on the schools are constantly changing and Kelly doesn’t send emails. It probably would be easy to get on a district mailing list, but as Kelly is technically my employer, I would think they would be more on top of that?
