Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI worked at Knott's Berry Farm part-time for more than a year
Pros
Good hours during summer and winter seasons, you can make good friends, free entry to the park whenever and free tickets every 3 months I believe. You also get a discount on certain merch and food with your employee ID. If your desperate for a job, they’ll hire basically anyone
Cons
Erratic work hours, sometimes you’ll have 40+ hours a week, other times you won’t have any hours at all. Management is rude, inconsiderate and expects us to work in really disgusting environment sometimes. I’ve seen mold, roaches, rats etc., while working there... needless to say I don’t eat at Knotts anymore.

supervisors were really nice bc they're also college students, free tickets, pretty chill environment, can adjust pretty quickly
Cons
hot sometimes, the money machine breaks down sometimes, one rude coworker experience but whatever, a couple rude entitled customers but I barely remember their faces now, random coworkers wanting my shift asking me thru text. Initially I felt bad and pressured and gave them my shift, but later shut them down bc i need the money (Also ppl i never interacted with asking me ugh)

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookI have been working at Knott's Berry Farm for less than a year
Pros
Free tickets every quarter, extra tickets for working Haunt shifts, friendly co-workers, orientation trainers are great (especially Edward), easy to get hired, and offers employees the opportunity to meet new park guests everyday who always have interesting back stories if you take the time to actually conversate with them
Cons
Low pay (if Knotts could pay less than minimum wage they would) and not enough hours (2-3 days a week 4-6 hours per shift—>ex. You work 3 days for 5 hours per shift that’s 15 hours. 15 hours* $11 per hour is $165 before taxes. Work 4 weeks a month with these hours if you are lucky during “slow season” and you only make $660 per month. I was hired as a hostess at Johnny Rockets and on my first day they trained me as a busser without even asking me if I wanted to do that. Then when I mentioned I rather do the job I was hired to do the management politely “threatened” that if u don’t learn to buss tables then they would only get about 8 hours a week of work. Which technically forces the new hire to do a job that they did not sign up for. And after a day of bussing even though you didn’t sign up to do it, servers are not required to tip their bussers (never heard of that before. EVER!!!!!!!) management here is lazy (just sits in office all day & stands around talking to hostess. They should be walking around the restaurant talking to guests to make sure everyone is happy with their food and service), the servers who are scheduled have the worst customer service and management keeps them around instead of promoting better candidates for the position.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at Knott's Berry Farm part-time
Pros
Free park entry, 2 free tickets to give to friends/family every 3 months, some discounts on merch (20% off, doesn't work on food) Free drinks and fairly discounted food in the Employee Break Areas.
Cons
Management is a joke, team leaders do nothing to help. If you run out of something in your shop, good luck trying to get a team leader to get it replaced. Tons of favoritism between the team leads and some employees. Co-workers would take their sweet time coming back from their breaks/lunches and the team leads would ignore it. Would also have co-workers coming into my work area and take food even though I needed it for customers. I've gone days where I was given my breaks almost an hour after I was supposed to, or they would not even give me my breaks on other days. Very often I was working in the shop alone having to do cashiering, frying, and restocking without any help because no one else would be on site. My hours would be randomly cut (i.e getting sent home 1-2 hours earlier than posted on the schedule). Have had weeks where I was not even given hours or given only 1-2 days to work. Some costumes are ridiculously heavy and having to work inside small shops with no AC in 100F weather is killer.
