I have been working at L.E.K. Consulting full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Learned a lot about how to do good work, was exposed to a lot of interesting companies / industries, and was truly challened. I'm currently recruiting to leave the firm and most companies are very receptive to my experience.

    Cons

The job can be unnecessarily draining. The highest performerms are not compensated or rewarded enough, the hours are too long, and teams are staffed inapropriately / the staffing model is too lean. Unfortunately management clearly views employees as inputs rather than people but clearly the business model works for them. I would never rate LEK as a place I could stay long term but for a couple of years it might be worth it.
