Pros
Great benefits package. Salaries are above average for the area. Laidback atmosphere. Some working from home is allowed.
Cons
Only a select few will have their careers advance here. Many people have worked there for years and even decades doing essentially the same job. Lots of cliques. Who's in charge? Is it Norway or the US? Hard to tell sometimes. Norwegian workers get inf on their 6 week summer holidays, 2 weeks for Christmas and a week for Easter.

Cons
Products are outdated to market demands and competition. Inter-office communication could be improved. No advancement plan unless you're in with the "cool kids" and don't step on any cool kids toes its career limiting.

Pros
They have a great mission of helping medical personnel to save lives. The culture overall is positive. Great benefits. HR is approachable and appreciative when you work with them.
Cons
There are some pockets of dysfunction so choose your department carefully. Some departments are a revolving door so be prepared to leave after a hand full of years. Other departments invest more in their employees and thus you can have a long productive and happy career.

Good local company with great benefits. Allows individuals to feel like they're making a difference in "helping save lives". Some really nice people. A few great managers to work with.
Cons
This company WAS amazing to work for. Management, CEO, and all level of employees would treat each other as equals, with respect, and even lunch together. That changed drastically. Egos and attitudes have replaced the friendly, respectful environment. Has always been a cliquey environment, however, it has gotten worse. Favoritism and grudges run amok. Results don't matter if you're not kissing butt. Hiring and promotions go primarily to young males. Management is more concerned with the implementation and sale of new products to address competitor advantages than address customer needs. False reporting is more important than actual results. Early release of faulty product without regard to customer need or desire put a huge strain on sales staff, repairs dept, and customer service. Management wants product to succeed and blames sales team and customer service for it's failure. Human Resources not always involved in employee disciplinary issues so proper protocol not always used. Firings, therefore, are sometimes completely unforeseen and unwarranted. Then it becomes a "he said, she said" during the exit interview where management always wins. I've seen this way too many times and staff is always very concerned that they are next for firings or layoffs. There is no sense of security. Heavy ego environment from both male and female managers. If they don't want you, they will find a way to get rid of you, even if it means falsifying facts and documentation. Global leadership sucks and demands immediate positive results even using prior failed policies. Unqualified people in management positions, however, they will never be demoted either because someone doesn't want to admit they made a bad choice or long term friendships.
