I have been working at Las Vegas Sands part-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Working there is pretty good because the fellow employees are all friendly and willing to help one another

    Cons

The downside of working there at the Sands is the managers home really don't communicate well with everybody so everybody's pretty much stepping over everybody

    Advice to Management

Advice to management would be to be more organized with your employees and communicate a lot better and learn to speak to people without yelling

I worked at Las Vegas Sands full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Pretty good compensation and benefits.

    Cons

IT Management and HR have no morals, you would think they have never seen their own policy on conducting business in an ethical manner. Everyone steps over the other to get what they want, will throw you under the buss if they don't like you.

    Advice to Management

    Get new management!

I have been working at Las Vegas Sands full-time

      Pros

      Nothing except good company benefits.

      Cons

They find ways to make you quit if you’re not up to their standard. Instead of bringing up their employees, they push them out. Bad reputation within the Company and in the Las Vegas Community. Stay away!

      Advice to Management

Change Leadership. They only care about themselves. Fueled by greed and moving up the rank. Grievance report filings dont get resolved because all executives are connected to each other.

I worked at Las Vegas Sands full-time

      Pros

Awesome investment in employees, SANS courses, training, etc. Money is where there mouth is for tools and training. 4-10's after 90 days. Salary with Overtime Eligibility.

      Cons

Office is the most political office I've ever worked with, there are favorites and it shows, and if you're not on the favorites list you should worry about your job. Training program is inconsistent, changing, and a joke, the company is looking for people who have experience already, and berate you for not having mastered every program by a month or two when they won't even let you touch anything for your first month...

      Advice to Management

Stick with promoting from within the company for your SOC. You're asking for beyond entry level, and those with those skills will seek greener pastures, and those just under will struggle and flounder.
