      Decent benefits, good place to gain experience decent pay

      Lots of broken promises, lots of work and hours, no work/life balance, can’t really move up because everyone is overloaded.

      Pros

      Fast-paced environment with lots to learn! Never a dull moment. Some (not all) very great managers and people!!

      Cons

      Benefits package is below average. Management also pays more for health insurance. PTO package is well below what it should be. Tend to pass over internal employees for promotion which can cause turmoil and discontent. Lots of people in management positions who know little to nothing about the process compared to employees who have been in hourly roles for years. Huge disconnect in the schedule and work/life balance between upper management and mid-level management. Managers expect their supervisor team to work overtime and their days off yet they are only there 40 or less hours per week Monday through Friday. SEVERAL managers and supervisors who are poor people managers. Taking a class on managing people does little to nothing. This should be valued equally to technical knowledge when considering an applicant for these roles.

      Pros

      The pay is average for manufacturing as it used to be above average, but average is better than below average. Benefits are average, holiday pay is good along with the several paid holidays.

      Cons

      Old style leadership that is results driven only meaning the employees are pretty much just a seniority number. The employee moral is negative because of lack of communication and they get frustrated with surprises. No work life balance is the common factor with hourly and supervisor employees. Supervisors forced to work days off with no compensation and leads to negative attitudes towards hourly work force, then hourly forced overtime because of lack of trained employees leading to negative attitudes towards other hourly and supervisor. It's a overall negative environment for the past several years.

      Pros

      Private company that has a family feel. Good benefits and long term job security. Leadership team that cares about the employees and makes you excited for the future of the company.

      Cons

      Work life balance can be tough, still stuck in the days when work is everything. Getter better but still room for improvement.

      Training and resources Opportunity in other companies once they realize you've worked for Leprino My manger was one of the few that actually cared about her direct reports

      Pros

      Exposure to senior management, profit sharing, and bonuses are good.

      Cons

      Hard to move up in the department once you are past a certain level. Lots of micro management and the company operates like it's still stuck in the 70s with its leadership style. Vacation time is awful. Too many projects and everything is high priority. Work life balance is not good; always expected to respond quickly even at nights and no weekends
