Usual corporate politics. Upper management in IT hasn't fully embraced agile practices.

-everyone is open to sharing about their role and their experience or helping connect you to someone who might have experience relevant to what you're interested in -was my first internship ever so I don't have other firsthand experience to compare it to, but extremely well-developed internship programming. had the chance to hear from and talk to many people across the company, including c-suite leadership - ERGs are very sincere and seem to have an actual positive impact on employees and company as a whole

Cons

-While very positive, the ERGs still rely a bit too much on voluntary employee labor in my opinion. They could use more company support I think. -Still a predominantly white company. Needs more diversity in upper management.

Pros

Pay was fantastic. With hard work and networking, advancement opportunities were there.

Cons

The culture shifted. There was a focus on customers and employees. This is no longer the case. Its very unfortunate to see what was once a solid company have such a negative shift in values. Profit for upper management is the only focus.

Never know if your position will be the next to go, outsourcing to other countries to save money - support basically acts as a function to clean up workflows for them to be taken away and given to lower paying positions in another country. Heavily metrics based, its all they care about at the end of the day and expect you to be a machine rather than a human. call center environment, where you are expected to be on the phones more than you were told when hired. transparency and honesty are hard to come by with upper management.

Long hours, constant upper management changeover which always precipitated huge changes at the lower levels
