Great place to work and gain industry-hardened Tech skills
Cons
Too top-heavy upper management and lack of appreciation towards genuinely hard working employees.

Reputed name for telecom industry.
Cons
Terribly leadership with absolutely no direction.Low level employees are not trusted. Lack of effective communication and direction from upper management and mid-management No WFH Legacy projects No Good project in Microsoft Technology. They will tell you we fortune 500 company . We are working in cutting edge technology. Reality is all opposite Don't join this company if you want to work in New technologies. Very hierarchical structure , manager don't know the Engineers working. he will only communicate to Project lead. Project leads are sitting in company from last 10-15 years. Only work they do is micromanagement. When there is need for help, a person struggles to get it. People are promoted based on flattering.

Pros
Flexible working hours, work life balance is good.
Cons
They don't have enough projects for their resources. Employee sit on bench for 8-10 months, even a year and then they ask you to resign. Difficult to reach Upper Management to discuss your career goals/issues. Very bad office politics. Absolutely no productive engagement plans for resource on bench.

Many constant changes working here
23 Aug 2021 - Team Administrator in Herndon, VARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
- Decent salary - Immediate team is excellent to work with - Remote work - Good work life balance
Cons
- Upper management is very focused on money -- to a degree where it seems that reinvestment is only for "the business" and does not seem to reinvest in employees. - They have eliminated annual raises. Raises are only given if your manager feels that you have gone "above and beyond and solved a business problem"...which due to the reasons listed below are next to impossible to do. - Very fast paced and stressful - Understaffed because upper management doesn't want to hire more people to support the workload...and the need is THERE.

Keep Looking
19 Oct 2021 - Operations Technician II in Denver, CORecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
There are some very knowledgeable people at LUMEN.
Cons
The expectation is that you will know multiple platforms at expert level without proper training. Line managers are over worked and pass that to their direct reports. Upper management is only focused on metrics and does a lot of lip service about customers but does not understand what is needed to actually service customers well. IVR to reach repair has been, and continues to be, nearly impossible for customers to navigate. Pay is low, raises are token, bonuses are minimal. Job satisfaction is at all-time low across many of the functions that are customer facing.

The pay is great thanks to the Union
Cons
CEO Upper Management Field Management No sense of being a team Although there is a Union, the company still gets away with an awful lot. Poor decision making Spending more money trying to tie up techs rather than putting it where it should be going.

Pros
Good pay, Union Contract, Decent work / life balance.
Cons
Upper management does not value it's employees. This used to be an amazing place to work, but ever since the Level 3 acquisition it is clear that management only cares about profits at the expense of the customer and the safety of the employees that they rely on.
