I have been working at Lush part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

-all levels of business open to feedback (from management to sales assistants) -open to innovation -as a supervisor: great balance between customer service & personal development of transferable skills -50% discount on products, plus lots of free products to take home

    Cons

-support team is not always actually supportive -lots of information does not get passed down from headquarters to the shops, which mean we would sometimes find things out from Reddit rather than our own company

    I worked at Lush

    Pros

50% Discount Meet great like minded individuals insight to products and ingredients

    Cons

Favouritism of colleagues. If you speak against something you'll never make it to management or supervisor. Personal attacks. Great lack of progression and loss of talent. Not supportive of giving progression to people of BAME communities. If you're not Lushie enough or not so much extroverted, you'll never make it up to the top. 3 years of working there, was nice to all and got along, never received as much as a leaving card. Thats Lush.

I have been working at Lush part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Lush pay London Living Wage within London which is £10.55/h, you get 50% discount on almost everything except knot-wraps and tote bags, but does include spa treatments. A free spa treatment upon employment, and a guaranteed contract. They also provide a free private 24/7 counselling service you can access independently and confidentially which is really nice.

    Cons

I found it quite difficult to negotiate more hours on my contract, but I don't know of anyone who has had any issues reducing their hours if that's a problem.

  10. "Seasonal Sales Assistant Role"

    4.0

I worked at Lush part-time for less than a year

    Pros

50% discount on products and spa treatments. Generally a nice atmosphere

    Cons

Management can be very pushy - especially around us almost forcing products double the customers budget just to meet targets for the sake of lacklustre customer experience.
