Pros
Mostly steady work, paid on time.
Cons
Low pay, did not treat employees with respect.

Pros
Good co-workers, usually good platforms, and technical support is great.
Cons
Low pay, expect to work like a sweat shop employee, highly critical, no work/life balance, they outsource jobs to other countries so you can "fix" for them in the US.

Pros
Absolutely none for this horrible company. If I had to think of something I guess is that you can work from home but really try not to have any technical issues because having to call IT in India is a nightmare, they barely speak English and are no help at all. Also, they do pay their pittance of a wage on time.
Cons
Low pay, no raises EVER, constant nitpicking about nearly everything, no encouragement or positive feedback EVER, top heavy management who know nothing about transcription, they lie about nearly every aspect of the job and they are heavy on the "corporate speak" anytime you have a valid complaint or comment and are extremely good at belittling and harassing. Do not work for this company!

Pros
Got to work from home. Fellow employees are great to work with. Pay for supervisory and support staff is not bad.
Cons
10 years and nearly as many CEO's; none of whom made any positive contribution. Transcription and support staff jobs are being outsourced to India. Technical issues go unresolved, until clients start complaining, then manual measures get put in place, sometimes for years. "Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain." American transcriptionists (the people that actually earn the money) are getting shafted buy low pay and long hours. Even the Indian workers are starting to complain about working conditions and low pay.

Pros
The only pro is working from home, and maybe if you get a good direct supervisor
Cons
Low pay per line, constantly increasing expectations, very little recognition. Also, work may dry up on one account and you will then be sent to another team where you have to learn new accounts, which then slows you down, but you are accorded very little time to get your speed back up. I was bounced approximately 5 times in the space of a year. Ended up making minimum wage for most of that time. Lots of editing, which only pays half as much as straight transcription.

Pros
They pay on time, sometimes provide equipment.
Cons
Very low pay. They use very unfair practices to cut your pay. No raises, even COLA, ever. Punitive supervisors. Rigid rules. They monitor the time your hands are on the keyboard. Penalized for sending in blanks to QA by cutting pay for "too many" blanks. Doctors aren't taught to dictate properly. Audio quality is poor. IT is in India, wasting much time on poor speaking/comprehension problems. American medical records sent to India for transcription. Micromanagement is king at MM.

The worst of the worst

The only pro is the benefit of working at home. I can't think of 20 words of anything positive.
Cons
Low pay, terrible speech recognition software to deal with, little to no opportunity for advancement in a totally dead end job. This was the hell-hole formerly known as MedQuist, famous for stealing from their employees and their clients at the same time, and I think they have figured a way to steal from their workers legally now, because I barely make enough to get by.
