      Pros

      The people there are super supportive. There's always chances to work on other projects and get your feet wet in other areas of the workplace. The benefits are great and you're also in a union which is beneficial. The training period is thorough and educating. Very high possibility for being hired on as a perm employee.

      Cons

      If you work the closing shift the "all clear" can be inconsistent and annoying. As a temporary employee you're not always treated as well as the others especially if you're a "tier 1". If you're dping the contact center, there's not much breathing time as you're expected to answer calls back to back to back.

      Pros

      The people (other reps) contact center leadership, etc are great for most part. One or two awful ones but on average great staff.

      Cons

      OE gave me panic attacks. It was terrible. I hated working as many hours as we did and when it was over then tax season comes and people are still pissed. Everybody needs some time on and off phones. I hate the caste system of operations versus phone reps.

      Pros

      Good Experience, Great opportunity to get experience working for the state of MN. Great opportunity to learn about the marketplace insurance, and public programs such as Medical Assistance and Minnesota Care.

      Cons

      AWFUL MANAGEMENT!!!! During open enrollment long hours. Be prepared to have your hours changed at the drop of a hat. If you have childcare or lack thereof be prepared to be let go! Favortism some can get flexibility others can not. Lack of communication, I never even met my supervisor for 3 months! You will never truly know if you are doing a good job or not! Doing open enrollment they will use you just to satisfy having a "body" in a chair an as soon as open enrollment is over they will tell you your "Contract has Ended". Also don't fall for the "okie doke" about getting hired on. It will probably never happen. Many Leads said out their own mouth they interview 6-7 times before they got hired on! Also be prepared to work around mice. The building is infested and mice feces and urine is on your desk every morning!
