I worked at Maharishi Vidya Mandir full-time for less than a year

    Pros

There is no work pressure. Good for people who merely want to waste few years of their life doing nothing. Jobs are easily available, but at low salary. (Doesn't matter if the salary in previous job was much better, do no expect to be offered any higher salary)

    Cons

Salary is way less than the industry standards. After completion of a year of probation, there is a mere increase of 2000 Rs. to 3000 Rs. in salary followed by Rs. 100 to Rs. 200 rs of increment annually; there's a little chance of getting promoted but with no major benefits, instead the hr policies becomes more troublesome. They ask you to deposit security amount which much more than the salary that is being offered. Yoga and meditation is given more importance than the actual work. It is not worth working there for more than a year, as there is no opportunity for career development, both skill wise and financially. There are many nonsensical and illogical administrative policies which are forced on the employees. Potential employees are religiously discriminated, only Hindus are hired. Employees are forced to follow and practice the teachings of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. They force their employees to learn meditation and then again force them to pay fee for learning it in the name of donation. Most of the members of Board of Directors are just Hindu fanatics. Even few employees. Please do not accept any job offer from them. It is a suggestion.
