Pros
Good learning opportunities in supply chain domain, perks and benefits are decent, wfh, flexibility, lot of work, all there..
Cons
Learning and doing should really be owned by self , not much rotation policy

R&D dev in papers, maintainer in reality

- Shuttle service. - Some level of good work in present but only done by architecture team.
Cons
- First of all this company is 30+ years old, even though this is still trying to figure out if they come at least in bottom of 10 supply chain companies after taking rigorous work from the employees. - The managers promise that they will give you good work and in spite of you performing very well, but managers say this just for fun, don't take it seriously. - So much work load, even on weekend you need to come to office for work without any comp-off. - No market level technical learning. As they only focus on their customers not employees, so you end-up maintaining their product, which are written in 25+ year old technologies. - Freshers beware of this company, else you will destroy your career. You'll not be able to switch from this trench as you'll not learn anything here which companies in the market are demanding. - Too much politics. - Last but not the least, if you are coming from other places than south India, then you are coming here to maintain their 25+ year old product.

Cons
work life balance may take a hit sometimes, No infrastructure support in lockdown and no broadband support, another con is no comp-off for R&D team if we work on the weekends , this is a pretty basic thing we need if we work more than 40 hours a week please work on this.

A company to spend just one or two years
1 Jun 2021 - Software Engineer in BengaluruRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Pros: Not much, except you will be on your own with no one to guide you much so you will become confident in life. TT tables.
Cons
Cons: Few managers destroying the culture of the company by promoting a ruthless routine. Poor work life balance. No proper guidance or training before starting a task for junior level. Less holidays. Difficult to survive, managers are less professional. Overall, less systematic approach to deliverables resulting in poor outcomes at the client side. There are much better options outside in supply chain. Terrible food in the cafetaria.

Stability & professionalism

Leaders in supply chain and logistics. Job security No bench concept. Adapting to the latest backend technologies.
Cons
There are several departments within the organisation. So, they all act independently & exposure to technologies very a lot based on the department. Less hike is one of the constraints.

Good company.. Decent benefits. Lots of work. Good learning in supply chain.

Political power house !! Bad middle managers, Dont join as a lateral.
24 Mar 2021 - Anonymous Employee in BengaluruRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
1. Swanky new office. 2. Super friendly top management. 3. Pay is above average than service based companies. 4. Awesome transport facility. 5. Fast paced environment/ Less bureaucracy. 6. Latest tech stack on GCP. 7. Can learn the supply chain domain functionally.
Cons
****This is specific to R&D Team . Heard CSO/PSO are equally bad.*** 1. Bad work life balance. Staying for more than 10 hours is respected. 2. Horrible middle managers. Way too political and insecure. They are so insecure that they made a lateral hire's life a hell. Do not join if you are in your mid career as people who are in the org since last 10+ years, they think they are the boss and they do not want to loose their dependency. You cant do anything as top management wont take any action against them and you will have to resign after few years. 3. Too much partiality while assigning the work by middle managers. They will only assign the work to freshers whom they know they will leave after some time and they wont be a competitor for them. 4. Too much for "sir" culture. If you dont call a manager sir , they will get offended. 5. No work life balance. If you are seen after 8 in the office, people will respect you. there are chances old folks whom you report are staying till 10. 6. HR is useless. They are just a puppet of middle managers. 7. Less employee care. Only salary is what you get on 31st of every month.Benefits are better than service based companies but not comparable with a good product based firm. 8. Architecture team sitting in the US would do the core engineering work. Teams in India are just a "yes men". 9.They say it is a flat organization, however the Top management does not know anything about people on lower level. They are again on mercy of middle managers( read again bullies).
