    Pros

Company is flexible with adapting to employees' interests. A great place to learn and develop your career.

    Cons

Not as tech focused as would be expected of a fintech company.

I have been working at MarketFinance full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Firm stands out because of its dedication to the client, both in terms of product and in terms of customer service - truly fascinating to see the tech and product work that's put into making every aspect of the client's experience better. Teams will spend days, if not weeks, finding ways to save the client a minute here or make something clearer there - developing a transparent culture. Where else will you have co-founders do town halls where employees can vote on what they're saying in real time? - a team of very clever people who all believe in the mission - an excellent place to learn about finance and particularly about fintech - table tennis table, foosball table, snacks and fruit, gym membership, private health insurance - you get a free kindle and 250 quid a year to spend on books of any kind!

    Cons

    - It's not a walk in the park. Expect to work hard at times. People mostly don't work long hours, but days will sometimes be intense. (So you probably shouldn't join if you're looking for a cushy job!) - at times a little too many internal meetings

I have been working at MarketFinance full-time for less than a year

    Pros

An incredibly driven, intelligent & friendly staff. The core product is hugely beneficial to SMEs - easy to see the great difference it makes to a variety of businesses. There recently has been a huge push in training so the company is a great place to learn while also challenging yourself in your day-to-day role. People are very willing to share their experiences - the employees are from a variety of industries so the office is a real melting pot of ideas. A very rewarding place to work. MarketInvoice is the best peer-to-peer lender and one of the top fintech companies.

    Cons

Can definitely be chaotic at times but that is going to be the case with a new, growing company. There are 1-2 cynical people who complain about compensation / job role - negative people can be demotivating in a close-knit, hard-working environment. There can be difficulties in seeing a clear career path within the company but the onus is on the employee to structure one for themselves.
