    I have been working at MarketsandMarkets full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Good yearly appraisal. Company keeps on brings targets for sales and research, on completion you get very good hike, up to 30%. Flexible timing. Good exposure and learning.

    Cons

    Frequent change in strategy by top management. Employees are not well aware with company's vision and mission. Incentives/variables and appraisals are always late.

    I worked at MarketsandMarkets full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    The company had it's perk. Some good things were 1. Flexible timing 2. Good hike if you perform well and have good relations with your manager. 3. Comp offs if you work on week ends. But all these are old news. Now with new top management (specially in the HR) and with new WFH environment situation is pretty bad in MnM

    Cons

    1. No work life balance 2. Salary hike is not satisfactory 3. Fake reviews on glassdoor 4. No job security, company is more on hire-fire mode now 5. Top management is delusional, lack of planning is visible in almost every department, HR can't keep track of working hours or leaves, research managers lack basic research skills (that's why they are still in MnM, people with skills, leave the company very soon), most of all IT support is terrible, it was not at all prepared for WFH migration, and now employees are suffering due to poor IT infrastructure and support. This list can go on and on.

    - Flexible timings is the only thing. Trust when I say this

    Cons

    - HR one of the world departments I may have come across - Excessive Department Politics - Self-proclaimed winners from middle to top management, who may have reached their respective positions without genuine talent - High level of nepotism - Canteen pretty pathetic - On one hand there are dynamic organizations, on the other is MnM, You could witness change to such an extent that, one day you could easily be told to leave the organisation

    You are adviced...not to spare your one min on talking to this company. Extremely unfair policies from Top management and continuously breaking the ethics and suppressing employees beyond limits. People who are looking to make their career in consulting and advisory please don't consider this, you will regret big time in your life.

    Ridiculous top management. Top management make sure that you will work like a donky. N after doing that to they give 0% appraisal.

    1. Pathetic top management, changes their minds every now and then 2. HR have NO idea about meaning of Policies and SOPs 3. Top People coming from other organisations trying to overshadow CEO which is actually taking company down 4. No ethics in Sales, lies are allowed 5. No morality in top management, abuses resources

    - Location-Magarpatta SEZ, Pune - Timely salary

    Cons

    - Lack of vision of top management - Top management have no idea about ground problems - No variables ( at least for research team, you will get less than 50%) - High attrition of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) - Client needs are neglected, mundane research gets delivered and defended - They say no client feedback is a good feedback (hilarious) - HR who are suppose to follow rules and hygiene in office don't follow it. You can frequently find them eating at there workplaces and if you do the same you will be warned - Stupid policies (force leaves to minimize operation cost) - Unnecessary authority for QC team. You have to handle stupid comments of QC team. - Poor brand name

    I didnt even try thinking

    Where to begin with , The most intelligent people here are the associates and as the designation goes up you can find some rare species who are self proclaimed experts ( managers).They are only here cause somebody referred them. The people at the top management can certainly not find job anywhere else.The people at the ground level are literally treated as slaves with no respect. Their leaves do get accumulated but are mostly unused as their seniors never approve of it .@HR team please move out of cafeteria(your dwelling place) and talk to your employees . You are not just head hunters , your are HR`s for god sake. If you got some sanity left in you then start providing variable pay as what is mentioned in offer letter rather than 5k for associates and 10k for analyst/SRA.

    The growth rate is too quick to handle. If you are good at work, you have a high chance of getting promotion every year. You learn what not to do !

    Cons

    The challenges are listed below - 1- The company's management believes in - "Promises are meant to be broken." motto. 2- The management is too poor to understand what they are doing, how they are doing and most important 'why they are doing' ? 3- Hiring highly paid people from competitor company is not going to help until the company internally is structured. There is no structured policy for any department. There is no hierarchy followed. 4- There is zero reward and recognition. There is no transparency between the management, managers and their team members. There is no validation of work of the employees from the top management. 5- Incentive Structure - It looks fancy and promising. Unfortunately, your incentives are being released for your dear manager and other favorite colleagues. So, you should learn how to donate your incentives to others in a way. 6- Skill Set required - Apart from your MBA degree, you will require the following skills to reach the top or earn the best : a) Smart ___ licker. b) Be consistent to the point 'a' mentioned above. c) Always sound needy and overburdened after giving away all your work to the team members. d) Hypnotism - If you are a women, you have already won half the game. You have to quit thinking about your self respect and dignity. So do whatever to have all the attention of your manager. e) You have to be extremely patient because your superiors have all the right to bully you ! Sounds like 'Roadies', no ? f) How to fake. Yes, you should know how to fake you are working hard in front of your superiors and smart enough to take advantage. g) Competitiveness - You should know how to steal away other's work opportunities and ideas and present them as your own. h) Have a little fake accent in your communication will be cherry on the top! i) How to be rude and arrogant. If you are rude and arrogant thats the best you can have to rule the kingdom! And see, you are hired ! All the best to the people on board!
