    Pros

If you are an employee, you get to leave the company, which will be one of the happiest days of your life

    Cons

    1. The company tells its employees that they can take data from Gartner, Forrester, IDC but do not take data from MnM unless you can validate the data, you know that there is something seriously wrong with the company. This is the sort of ethics the company has and it is what everyone is expected to do, and the irony is that the CEO wants to disrupt Gartner. 2. MnM hired a Chief Product Officer (he left the company in 4 months) to work on their product 360, when he told the CEO and COO that there are anomalies and it will take time to sort it, they replied you just launch the product we will take care of the rest ( We will fool the clients). This is the work culture they have, if they were paid to do an honest days work, they would have to beg on the streets. Fooling clients (and even their own employees) is the only core competence MnM has. 3. The senior sales core team get 10% of every deal Knowledge Store deal (the product contains reports that are copy pasted and are also poorly made, more on this later) which has led to these guys bringing deals which they do not have the capability to serve so that they can rake in the 10%. A big company came with certain requirements, the sales team pitched KS and told them around 70% of your requirements will be fulfilled with KS subscription, when the deal went to the COO he told the client that actually 90% of your requirements will be completed just using KS (I wish i could find out what COO is smoking). Well the deal got through and the requirements were passed to research team of ICT, semiconductor and automotive, with Chief Delivery Officer (also left in 4 months) working on the requirements, they figured this will require considerable time and couple of hundred thousand dollars. When the client was told about this, they showed them the agreement copy which didn't mention any additional cost and so because of stupidity and greed of COO they are providing a free consult of couple of hundred thousand dollars. 4. The CEO every 2 months comes up with a hair brained sales strategy to get their products to work, which (not points for guessing) do not work and they are not bothered to find out why the strategies do not work, not that they it will matter it is beyond their capabilities. 5. The CEO holds weekly sales meeting which he conducts as it were a classroom of 12 year olds where he will point at someone and ask him/her how many meetings you have brought, how many mails have you sent and so on, the micro management is incredibly mind boggling. 6. CEO and COO should make a bollywood version of dumb and dumber, because that is what they do in MnM, they come up sillest of strategies that even MBA graduate on the very worst presentations won't come up with and they claim MnM is the next billion dollar company (seriously what are they smoking). Additionally, the COO brought lot of his people to ruin the culture further for instance the Europe head bullies people as if were still in high school (grow up dude). 7. MnM will come up with new working hours policies to deduct 2-3 days of salary from every employee, so I guess being ethically challenged is not enough they have to steal from their own employees. Bunch of thieves running an white collar company. 8. All the reports are from made through google search and that is it. There are no paid primary interviews and most of the primaries that happen are not of much help (the research team is asked to sell reports to them also). The reports are pretty useless and I feel for people and organizations that bought them. Additionally, a primary respondent told one of my colleagues that your reports are useless and they could not make even a single decision based on MnM report (and they call themselves world’s largest revenue impact company). In one report a market size was inflated from $1 billion to $3 billion just because a previous version of report was already sold to the client (I'm pretty sure there are multiple reports with same issue). There was report named IoT middleware but for some reason the mangers asked to write a report on IoT Platform instead. After the report was completed because the managers were afraid to tell this to CIO they asked us to replace all IoT middleware words in the report with IoT Platform. These are some of the practices that keep on happening and you can get the quality of reports from this. The company is in complete shambles and the attrition rate is around 70 -75%. The company keeps getting worse each day and is a sinking ship and because of which they had to resort to putting up fake reviews just to keep average rating of 2.5. Don't join the company unless you are in a very very desperate situation.

I have been working at MarketsandMarkets full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I really wish there was a pro about the company

    Cons

This list can go on forever. However, below are a few points for any prospective joiners: 1) Horrible work culture 2) The company and its leadership don't have any idea where the company is heading and don't have any vision or mission except for revenue growth. 3) The internal policies are a mockery and the company might as well assign class monitors for every employee 4) The hygeine and facilities are pathetic and health & safety here are on the bottom of their list. 5) To improve their ratings on Glassdoor, the HR teams write fake reviews. 6) The support teams here are a mockery I would not recommend anyone to join this company; my worst enemies included. I would have given the company negative ratings if Glassdoor allowed it.
