I have been working at Mastercard full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    1. Higher management is keen on changing things so employees really get a chance to be up-to-date technologist
    2. Salary standards are very good
    3. Management does recognize if you are a good performer
    4. The talent pool in Vadodara is outstanding, they can pull off any job given to them.

    Cons

    1. Local HRBP is just busy in playing politics and dirty tricks. You cannot go to them if you want to complaint about your leader or BL since she may be hand in gloves with that BL. You have to sit back and take punches if you happen to be in that BL's heirarchy. They are like indian police, they primary job is to provide safety to you, but you are afraid of going to them.
    2. Notice period of 3 months. HR can make you serve three months notice period even if you dont have any work. Ridiculous.

    Advice to Management

    1. Please remove local HRBP, they are not adding any value, rather they are spoiling the culture, if needed, have Pune HRBP take care of Vadodara tech hub, have a survey about HR in vadodara office
    2. See if the work type can be diversified in Vadodara office.
    3. Senior management should visit vadodara more often and have meetings with selected individuals, it will help you guage ground realities, otherwise you are doing a great job, please keep up the good work.

    Advice to Management

Management can take care of resources who are highly experienced and also try not to stick them to the projects which can be handled by L1 support
